IT monitoring software (ITOM)

Monitoring software, with the right thresholds.

We license and implement the monitoring and observability platform your environment needs, commercial or open source.

What is IT monitoring software (ITOM)?

IT monitoring software (ITOM) is the tool that supports the ITIL practice of monitoring and event management: it collects metrics, logs and alerts from your infrastructure. N.Technology licenses and implements it; if you also want us to watch it 24/7, add our 24/7 NOC monitoring service.

FAQ

What clients ask us.

What does the implementation include?

The full consultative process: defining the tool, designing the architecture, configuring processes, thresholds and alerts, integrating your systems and training your team. At the end, the platform is up and running, tuned to your environment and ready for your IT team to operate.

What is the difference between monitoring and observability?

Monitoring tells you that something failed. Observability combines metrics, logs and traces to help you understand why it failed and where. Monitoring answers known questions with predefined checks; observability lets your team investigate problems nobody anticipated across complex, distributed systems.

Do you watch the alerts for us?

Only if you contract our 24/7 NOC monitoring service. With licensing and implementation alone, N.Technology leaves the tool configured and running, and your own IT team operates it and responds to the alerts it generates.

Do I have to replace my current tools?

Not necessarily. We start from what already works and integrate, replace or complement it as needed.
